Betsy_s got one for me right now in the Naked Newsroom Shannon, Minnesota_s Attorney General filed a massive 5 BILLION dollar pollution lawsuit against 3M back in 2010, and it_s finally paying off The trial was supposed to begin on Tuesday but 3M just settled, agreeing to pay 850 MILLION dollars The case revolved around 3M_s use of PFCs, which were found in Scotchgard and other products and are believed to have polluted local waters and contributed to health problems. The money will reportedly be used to support water sustainability, so I guess today, the 3Ms stand for Mmm, justice Many of America_s top intelligence chiefs are getting on the Buy American bandwagon, especially when it comes to smartphones In recent testimony before a Senate Intelligence Committee, the heads of the FBI, CIA, and NSA all recommended against buying smartphones from China. According to FBI director Chris Wray, using the devices provides the capacity to conduct undetected espionage. In other words, the only country that should be spying on you, is your own And if you want to have access to an AT&T mobile 5G network, time to head south The company has just announced three cities that_ll be among the first to get the service: Atlanta, Georgia and Dallas and Waco, Texas This follows an earlier announcement by the telecom that they_d be bringing 5G to about a dozen cities by the end of the year. And in case you_re wondering what all the fuss is, 5G is about ten times FASTER than 4G.
