Here_s the story. Tom Holland is your new Peter Parker As I just mentioned he won the role after an exhausting world wide search. Holland is largely unknown in North America but has three movies being released this year including Ron Howards In the Heart of the Sea. Well see Hollands webslinger debut in next years Captain America: Civil War with the rebooted Spider-Man hitting screens in July 2017.Movie fans have spoken and Indiana Jones is the greatest movie character EVER. Empire Magazines poll put the swashbuckling archaeologist played by Harrison Ford ahead of superspy James Bond with another of Harrison Fords roles Han Solo in third. For TELEVISION characters Breaking Bads Walter White took top spot over Tyrion Lannister of Game of Thrones and Homer Simpson. If you had to guess whod be behind a biopic of comedian Groucho Marx you probably wouldnt come up with Rob Zombie. But hes doing pre-production on a film based on the book Raised Eyebrows: My Years Inside Grouchos House. It turns out Zombie is actually a longtime fan of Marx. He describes the project as Grouchos Sunset Boulevard a sad funny and very dark tale of the funnyman.And great news for fans of the British version of The Office David Brent will be back in Life On The Road a MOVIE spin-off to hit screens late next year. The film will continue in the doc-style format of the TV show following Brent-played by Ricky Gervais-as he leaves the corporate world to take his band on tour in search of rock 'n roll stardom. Gervais will write direct produce AND star.Now let_s have an early look at the upcoming action-adventure blockbuster Everest. Its based on the true story of the 1996 Mount Everest disaster where a massive blizzard killed eight climbers. The films A-list cast includes heavyweights Josh Brolin Keira Knightley Jake Gyllenhaal and Sam Worthington. The flick is being released in 3D and IMAX 3D which should make it a terrifyingly immersive experience. Everest hits theaters September 18. For Naked At The Movies Im Madison Banes.

The smart-watch makers raised one million dollars in just 49 minutes to fund their new-age time-piece that has an outrageous battery life of seven daysIf you_re Canadian you might be spending too much time online eh. ComScore calculated Canucks spend more time on the net then anyone else about 36 hours every month visiting an average of 80 websites. As long as one of those sites is Naked News we guess that_s okay The study found that users are increasingly using the web on their phone and watching a lot more video content.And a new study has found that unless it_s marijuana or money most Americans don_t care much about green issues. The research suggests Americans are even less bothered about the environment than 20 years ago. It found more than half think the overall quality of the environment is good or excellent. The Ringling brothers_ world-famous circus will completely remove Asian elephants from their shows by 2018 in light of growing public concern. The iconic symbols of the circus will slowly return to a circus_ conservation center in Florida over the next few years. Let_s get right into the headlines courtesy of our very own Katherine Curtis who_s got some surprising new info on American oil production.As we all know Eila crude oil prices have TANKED over the last little while but that hasn_t stopped American companies from producing at RECORD levels The US oil industry is projected to produce a RECORD amount of oil this year. And the thing is you couldn_t pick a stranger time to have a record-breaking year. Oil prices have fallen from over a hundred dollars a barrel last summer to about fifty this year. A big reason for the production surge is the delay between when oil wells are drilled and when they start pumping oil which can take up to a year. That means the recent declines in the industry haven_t been felt yet on the production side of things.Saudi Arabia is spending more than ever on its military. The country_s military budget grew by 17-percent in 2014 to 80.8 billion dollars. It marks the biggest jump among the world_s top defense spenders. The increase reflects the volatility in the Middle East. But when it comes to over-ALL spending the US is still far and away the global leader. Their bill totaled 610 billion dollars last year. The Gap Sears and Target are among 13 major US retailers being investigated in New York for how they schedule their hourly workers. Attorney general Eric Schneiderman has asked them all for details on the companies_ use of on-call shifts. It_s a growing trend that allows stores to have more staff when it_s busy and fewer when times are slow. Employees are often told whether they_ll be working just hours before the start of a shift making it difficult for them to manage family life like child care. I_m Katherine Curtis we_ll be right back

What is the DEAL with this man Andrea? Apparently he_s now saying he DID drug women for sex?That_s right he basically admitted it during a 2005 deposition. The docs were just unsealed followed a request from the Associated Press.So much for all the denials I guess THIS really blows this story wide open. I think it does and you can bet attorneys for the women who have suits filed against him will want to use the information. Anyway here_s what_s going on Kat. Newly released court documents show that Bill Cosby ADMITTED to buying sedatives to give to women he wanted to have sex with. The testimony dates back to a civil suit filed against Cosby in 2005 when a woman accused him of drugging and sexually assaulting her. Before settling the case the fallen comedian testified that he had given several women Quaaludes as well as Benadryl. The Associated Press successfully petitioned for the case documents to be unsealed after a flood of recent allegations from over a dozen victims.In other news Shell is set to begin a controversial project drilling for oil in the Arctic. The oil giant was granted permission from the US government back in May and has already committed 7 BILLION dollars in costs. Up to 20 percent of the world_s undiscovered oil and gas reserves could be located under the Arctic although Shell doesn_t expect to see a commercial return until 2030. Environmentalists object to the project citing the potential high-risks to the local ecosystem.And Mozambique just burned the world_s largest seizure of rhino horns and ivory in a public stand against wildlife poaching. The African country has seen its elephant population HALVED in the past 5 years by ivory traffickers while the rhinoceros has been driven to near extinction within Mozambique. Memories Pizza is in the news today that_s the pizza shop that drew national headlines for saying they would not serve gay customers in Indiana due to their religious beliefs. Well the comments led to scathing reviews on Yelp - including threats to burn the place down. As a result they say they were forced to temporarily close their doors. In response to the backlash an online fundraising page was set up to support the pizzeria... and quickly raised more than 840000 dollars The GoFundMe account stopped accepting donations over the weekend but managed to raise the sum in just 3 days. After a two-year shutdown scientists in Switzerland are back working on their big bang theories The Large Hadron Collider at the CERN particle physics center is once again fully operational. It had been shut down for upgrades. The team smashed proton beams by sending them in both directions around the LHC_s 17-mile-round track and the plan is to crank things up to even higher intensity in the coming days. The 10 billion dollar collider was used to discover the elusive Higgs boson particle in the first run of testing between 2009 and 2013. It_s hoped the latest round of research will help unlock further frontiers of particle physics. And American health officials are warning of a mutant stomach bug that_s spreading across the US. The bug is responsible for nightmare travel illnesses like Delhi belly and Montezuma_s revenge. Normally those cases are easy to treat but the bug has changed its form and become resistant to common antibiotics. The Centers for Disease Control say about half of the people affected had links to international travel - mainly to the Dominican Republic and India. The bug spreads really easily between people Kat so officials say travellers should wash their hands frequently.
