And nobody thought he could beat Hillary Clinton but the numbers say otherwise.I guess that means a lot of Americans will be moving to Canada. Unless WE decide to build a wall...Only time will tell but right now The Donald has to feel VERY good about his shot at the Oval Office. A new national poll from Fox News shows that Donald Trump has pulled ahead of Hillary Clinton. The numbers show Trump would win the general election by a 45 to 42 percent margin. Their a little surprising considering Trump is far behind Clinton when it comes to support from African American and female voters. However he makes up for the margin thanks to strong support from men particularly white men. That said it doesn_t sound like Americans are thrilled with either candidate. Two-thirds think Clinton is dishonest and more than half think Trump lacks strong moral values. US lawmakers are bringing the hammer down on Chinese steel imports. The Commerce Department has imposed import taxes of up to 522-percent on steel made in the Asian country. China which is by far the world_s largest steel producer has been accused of dumping low-quality exports on other countries. A lack of demand has caused lowered prices and job losses in places like the US. The new tariff could increase tensions between China and the US and could lead to retaliatory taxes being introduced by Beijing. And Homeland Security has a message for US airlines complaining about lengthy waits at airport security: get rid of your baggage fees Homeland Security Secretary Jeh Johnson says that eliminating the fees will encourage travelers to check their bags which will in turn mean less carry-on luggage to screen for TSA handlers. The airlines have basically responded by saying thanks but NO thanks They_re calling for the TSA to staff more workers at the country_s most heavily-trafficked airports. American Airlines has even hired its own contractors to help security agents speed things along. The issue_s only expected to get worse during the busy summer travel season. We had an epic finish to the Monaco Grand Prix and a ROOKIE won at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. Here_s Elise to break it all down for you in her NAKED SPORTS REPORT Thanks Eila and it_s game time people - this is Naked Sports The first time was the charm for rookie racer Alexander Rossi at the 100th Indianapolis 500 The 24-year old grew up chasing a career in Formula One and had next to no experience driving on an oval track... but he did just fine at the Brickyard An aggressive decision to skip a fuel stop meant he was running on fumes on the final lap. He actually ran out of gas coming out of Turn 4 but was able to coast across the finish line. Alexander actually had to be towed to victory circle to celebrate Now to an epic F1 event at the Monaco Grand Prix Mercedes driver Lewis Hamilton won his first race of the year thanks to a bold tire strategy. The track was wet when the race began but everyone went to the pits for an intermediate tire change as things dried up. Everyone EXCEPT Hamilton that is He stayed on his wet tires took the lead and then managed to fend off a furious chase from Red Bull_s Daniel Ricciardo to take the checkered flag. What a race It was a weekend Mexican soccer star Alan Pulido will NEVER forget. The 25-year old was kidnapped late Saturday night while leaving a party in his hometown of Ciudad Victoria. The area_s known as ground zero for a vicious turf war between rival drug cartels and _s happen there all too often. Thankfully this scary story has a happy ending. Late Sunday night a massive joint operation between state and federal forces managed to track him down. Pulido was clearly shaken up but appeared to be in good health. Here_s something golf_s Jordan Spieth hadn_t done before: win in his home state of Texas. Golf_s wonderboy did just that on Sunday Spieth had six birdies on the back nine at Colonial shooting a sizzling 65 in the final round. Spieth finished at 17-under on the weekend. It_s been a rocky few weeks since Spieth_s meltdown at the Masters. He missed the cut at the Players Championship and finished a disappointing 18th last week at the Byron Nelson. And tied 1-1 after regulation and extra time it all came down to penalty kicks in the Champions League final between Atletico and Real Madrid. In the shootout Atletico_s Juanfran hit the post and that was the opening Real superstar Cristiano Ronaldo needed He converted his kick to give his team a 5-3 victory on penalties Real Madrid has hoisted Europe_s biggest club trophy a record 11 times and have won it two out of the last three years. Here she is with a Naked News Bulletin. Isabella we_ll begin in North Korea where the regime of leader Kim Jong Un is making some serious threats against the US. The government there has just released a report claiming they had the capability to wipe out all of MANHATTAN using a hydrogen bomb. The North Korean leader was quoted as saying that his scientists have developed nuclear warheads small enough to fit on ballistic missiles. While nuclear testing by North Korea HAS been confirmed experts don_t believe that it currently involves anything as advanced as a hydrogen bomb. A US whistleblower is claiming that Volkswagen execs spent DAYS illegally DESTROYING documents relating to the emissions testing scandal. Daniel Donovan worked in the company_s Detroit Michigan office and says that he was FIRED for refusing to help delete evidence. In his lawsuit Donovan alleges the cover-up started on the same day the Environmental Protection Agency filed charges against the company. A spokesperson for Volkswagen called the allegations without merit. And it_s not the image most people would want to associate with their breakfast cereal The US Food and Drug Administration is investigating after a video recently surfaced online of a man URINATING on a Kellogg assembly line According to the food giant the video was taken at a factory in Memphis Tennessee in 2014. They also said that any possible contaminated products would now be expired. The company has since issued an apology on its official Twitter account and promised to cooperate fully with authorities. On the one hand Lynch often seems to hate cameras. On the other he_s really good at learning his lines As someone who occasionally interviews people I really shouldn_t enjoy that as much as I do The Marshawn Lynch episode of Brooklyn Nine-Nine is airing January 1st.AT&T has officially launched their DirecTV Now streaming service For a limited time 35 dollars a month gets you the Go Big package with its over 100 channels Go Big will eventually go for 60 bucks a month so if you_re interested you_d better act fast. AT&T is still working on agreements with CBS and Showtime and features like a PVR are still in the works. As an added bonus if you_re into Taylor Swift it_s even better The company announced they_d soon be launching Taylor Swift NOW a channel devoted EXCLUSIVELY to the singer Who wouldn_t want that?? CBS is showing a lot of faith in its new reality show Hunted The series will premiere on January 22nd immediately following the NFL_s AFC championship game Based on a UK series of the same name Hunted will see nine teams of two trying to evade capture out in the real world while being hunted by professional investigators Teams that make it 28 days without being captured will receive a cool quarter million dollars But since we also need something to watch in the here and now here_s our Stream This pick of the week The Amazon series Good Girls Revolt is far from revolting and for a story set in the late Sixties it_s remarkably timely The workplace drama is based on the true story of the women who worked at Newsweek and went after the company for gender discrimination The drama gives us a world where men are the vaunted reporters and women are the lowly researchers and it_s hard not to feel like you_re watching an alternate Mad Men with a lot more Peggies The big takeaway here is that Meryl Streep_s daughter Grace Gummer who plays Nora Ephron is a revelation All ten episodes of the Amazon series Good Girls Revolt are streaming now.
