I_m Andrea Sully, if you were one of the MILLIONS of Citibank customers between 2003 and 2012, you MIGHT be owed some cash. The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau has ordered the bank to pay 700 MILLION dollars for overcharging account holders. The payout affects around 9 million people who were duped into credit card add-on services. Some customers were even charged for services they didn_t actually receive. Current account holders will automatically receive a credit on their statement while ex-customers will receive a check in the mail.It_s another stellar quarter for Apple as the tech giant posted RECORD results. Profits increased by a whopping 38 percent to 10 point 7 BILLION. iPhone sales were up 35 percent from a year ago, while the number of Macs sold, rose 9 percent. Sales of iPads dropped but Apple still managed to sell nearly 11 million units. Sales figures from the Apple watch weren_t disclosed, but overall, CEO Tim Cook called it an amazing quarter.Facebook CEO, Mark Zuckerberg is now the 9th richest person on the planet. Zuckerberg_s swelling bank account is all thanks to the surging price of Facebook stock. The social media juggernaut hit an an all time high of 100 dollars recently. That_s an INCREDIBLE rise of more than 160 PERCENT from its 2012 initial public offering. In total, Zuckerberg is worth an estimated 43 billion, while Facebook_s value tops 275 billion.
